Ingredients:

• 2 cups water
• 1-2 tablespoons of ground dandelion root
• Sweetener of your choice (i.e., honey, agave, maple syrup, sugar)
• Milk or milk substitute of your choice
• Cinnamon stick (optional)
• One tablespoon of ground chicory root (optional)

Directions:

1. Place water and the dandelion root into a small pot. If you plan on adding chicory root and/or cinnamon, place them also into the pot.
2. Stirring occasionally, bring the mixture to a boil and then let simmer for 5-10 minutes.
3. Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer into cup(s).
4. Add milk and sweetener to taste.
5. Serve and enjoy!
