Recipe: Bottom’s Up. The Cow Jumped Over The Moon

White Vodka Cocktail Recipe

You want to talk about your locavore products. Here’s a pure, crystalline vodka made in Vermont from milk sugar. Yes, that’s right.  Yet another great product from your friendly milk cow. Triple distilled, small batches, and it’s lactose free as well as carb free. So there. It’s really good, kept in the freezer and just sipped by the thimble full from a tiny glass. But for special occasions, here’s a real low-carb cocktail.  A dieter’s delight. Yum. See  for more information and a guide to where to buy.

1 oz Vermont White Vodka1 oz white rum

1 oz. orange liqueur

1/2 oz fresh squeezed lemon juice + lemon slices

Shake over crushed ice until foamy then strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a lemon wedge. May be served over the rocks.
